Polybombing

Polybombing is a feeling of shock when a monogamous person's partner brings up their desire to be polyamorous.

Polybombing can strain a relationship as both partners must navigate new desires and identities. Polybombing usually results in one of three outcomes:

1. The couple breaks up since they want different things in their relationship.
2. The relationship transitions to a mono-poly

   A dyad relationship where one person is polyamorous and the other person is monoamorous.
