Fluid bonding is the act of barrier free sex in a multigamous relationship.

Fluid bonding with a partner is an indication of trust for boundaries and rules around sexual health and pregnancy. Partners will often engage in fluid bonding while amending the rules they have with other partners in order to protect against STIs.
